Refund & Cancellation Policy
This refund policy outlines how payments and cancellations are handled by Human Counselling, to ensure clarity and fairness for both client and counsellor.
Payments

Fees for counselling sessions are agreed in advance

Payment is usually required before sessions take place or shortly after.

Once a session has been attended, it is non refundable
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours notice.

Sessions cancelled with 48 hours notice or more are eligible for a full refund or can be rescheduled

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are usually charged in full and are non refundable

Missed sessions without notice are charged in full
Exceptions may be made at the discretion of Human Counselling in cases of illness or unforeseen circumstances.

There may be some circumstances where Human Counselling will need to cancel a session. In this situations as much notice will be given as possible and the session will be rescheduled either for the next session time or the next availability.
Prepaid Sessions and Blocks

Prepaid sessions or session blocks are refundable if cancelled with appropriate notice

Any sessions already used are non refundable

Remaining sessions may be refunded or carried forward by agreement
Ending Counselling
If counselling ends part way through a prepaid arrangement, any unused sessions may be refunded unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptional Circumstances
Human Counselling understands that unexpected situations can arise. Refund decisions in exceptional circumstances are made with care and discretion.
Changes to This Policy
This refund policy may be updated occasionally. The most recent version will always be available on the Human Counselling website.
